As an independent organisation, The BFSO is in a unique position to facilitate cross-industry discussions. Following our Chatham House event in August we have released the discussion paper that captures the key themes and topics covered on the night.
The evening was titled: ‘Moral and Strategic: Re-establishing Corporate Legitimacy’ and was in collaboration with UTS Academic Dr Rosemary Sainty. A number of directors and regulators came together to discuss Dr Sainty's research findings, and what the current climate means for organisations and their 'social licence to operate'.
The Australian Financial Review covered off some of the themes, but there's so much more in the actual Discussion Paper!
Stay tuned for another collaborative event following the release of Commissioner Hayne's final report in February.
