The Ethics Centre is an independent not-for-profit organisation and the BFSO initiative relies on sponsorship from the industry to oeprate.
The Governor of the RBA and the Chairs of APRA and ASIC are signatories, and have supported the BFSO to emerge as an independent initiative that complements the role of their organisations. BFSO signatories include industry leaders from retail banks and investment banks, wealth and fund managers, superannuation, insurance and advisory sectors, as well as industry associations.
The Young Ambassador program was first developed in 2015 and designed to encourage and support students (final year), graduates and young professionals (under 30) to adopt a strong ethical foundation as they begin their careers in the banking and financial services industry. With consistent and assured finances, we can implement larger itnakes and provide and robus training program for participants to build ethical capabilites.
Funding support helps the BFSO continually improve and raise awareness of ethical standards in financial services in Australia and we are grateful to the following organisations for their generous commitment to this important ethics initiative.
