Working at APRA, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how ethics underpins trust and stability within Australia’s financial system, ensuring that deposit holders, insurance policy holders and superannuation members have the confidence they need in our institutions. Ethical decision making is essential in driving good corporate and operational governance and facilitating uplift in practice.

As a BFSO Young Ambassador, I look forward to working with fellow Ambassadors and industry leaders in exploring how we can foster a culture of ethics in financial services. Furthermore, I’m interested in exploring the importance of how our legal structures that facilitate the financial system can ensure a system of ethics and reinforce trust and accountability in financial institutions.
